Albuquerque:
We are thrilled to announce that we successfully competed for a contract to provide services through the University of New Mexico to provide services in Albuquerque, Farmington, and Roswell, New Mexico. We have begun working with families, hiring and training staff, and will be soon opening an office in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

Redwood Coast:
Deb Ewen, M.A., BCBA, the satellite clinical director in our Redwood Coast office, is presenting a training entitled Introductory Training to Improve Communication: Teaching Your Child to Request at the Humboldt Area Foundation in Eureka on May 2nd, 2008, from 9am to 12:30.

Conferences:
We would love for you to visit our booth at the upcoming International Applied Behavior Analysis Association Conference in Chicago on May 23rd through May 27th.

Services in Armenia:
Services in Armenia are now being provided through an affiliation with a school for children with autism in Yerevan. The school, called the International Child Development Center, is located on Saryan Street, in the heart of Yerevan. The school brings state of the art knowledge and training to staff in Armenia who can then serve the local population.

Because there is no financial support for these services from the government of Armenia, and because the income level of most Armenians cannot come close to meeting the costs of services, donations to the school are desperately needed. Tax-deductible donations to the school can be made through the Autism International Foundation, at Autism International Foundation.  You might also be interested in visiting the school’s website at www.aicdc.am.
